The AJFSF International has prepared the first report on the subject that seeks to present and analyze the general panorama of the discipline in the women’s branch of futsal.

The International Association of Futsal Players has taken a fundamental step in its mission for equality and recognition of women’s futsal. As one of its first actions, the union has prepared a pioneering report that exhaustively analyzes the panorama of women’s futsal. The report highlights the need for significant change to correct deficiencies and inequalities compared to its men’s counterpart and women’s eleven football.
The document, which has been presented with the purpose of examining and raising awareness of the needs of female players, analyzes various areas, including:
-The different national women’s futsal leagues.
-The structures and organizations of these leagues.
-Television coverage of the matches.
-The economic situation of the players.
-Testimonies from several players about their current circumstances and the challenges they face.
The report highlights the importance of developing an urgent action plan to improve the conditions of women’s futsal globally. One of the most highlighted points in the report is the call to FIFA to create and hold a Women’s Futsal World Cup.
