The International Association of Futsal Players (AJFS) has held a press conference aimed at exposing its situation of inequality and discrimination to FIFA.

Natalia Orive, president of AJFS International, has led this initiative, strongly calling on FIFA to finally fulfill its promise to organize a women’s World Cup. Players from the most influential teams around the world have united under the leadership of Natalia Orive to demand what they consider a fundamental right: equal opportunities.
Natalia Orive stated: “In September 2021, we turned to FIFA to denounce the public abuse and neglect of female futsal players. A year later, we still have no official answers. As men’s futsal prepares for its tenth World Cup , FIFA still does not organize our first edition. We are meeting for the first time in history to publicly denounce discriminatory treatment. We urgently demand an official meeting with the highest person in charge. We need a real commitment once and for all. Gender equality “It is not achieved with empty promises. If they did not want to listen to us before… Now they will have to see us.”
