An international commitment for equality in women’s futsal.

The Association of Women’s Futsal Players (AJFSF), founded in 2010, has taken a monumental step in the fight for the rights and recognition of female futsal players. Since its inception, the AJFSF has been dedicated to protecting, defending and fighting for the rights of female indoor soccer players in Spain. It not only represents First and Second Division players in Spain, but also includes former players from these categories. With more than 450 associated players, the AJFSF has become the largest union of women athletes in Spain, marking a milestone in the search for equality in sport.
But the vision of the AJFSF has wanted to transcend national borders. With the creation of AJFSF International, this association expands its reach and embarks on a global mission for the rights of female futsal players. The AJFSF International’s main objective is the international regulation of the rights of players in this discipline.
The objectives of AJFSF International are clear and ambitious. They seek to strengthen unity and solidarity between players around the world, defend their rights before international organizations such as FIFA, UEFA, CONMEBOL, AFC and the European Union, and demand measures at an international level that guarantee the protection and integrity of the players. They also commit to continue promoting women’s futsal around the world and to make visible situations of gender inequality and opportunities for female players, taking the necessary actions to correct them.
The players will play a crucial role in this partnership. They will act as voices of change, connecting players from their national leagues with AJFSF International and participating in events and meetings to evaluate and promote the development of women’s futsal globally.
