The Players Association unites the best futsal players on the planet in a video to demand that FIFA creates the first women’s World Cup.

The International Association has brought together female futsal players from around the world to join forces in a powerful video to demand that FIFA organize the first women’s futsal World Cup. Despite nine editions of the men’s World Cup since 1989, female futsal players have still not competed in one.
The Association of Futsal Players (AJFS), which has been fighting for the creation of the Women’s World Cup since 2015, has led this bold campaign. Over the years, FIFA has promised on several occasions to organize this tournament, but these promises have not materialized.
The powerful video brings together the best soccer players from different national teams in a collective effort. For the first time in history, players representing Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Uruguay, Holland, Japan, Italy, Argentina, Iran and Ukraine have joined. Among the players featured in the video are Anita Luján, Amandinha, Janice da Silva, Fátima Villar, Nancy Loth, Chikage Kichibayashi, Ersilia D’Incecco, Julia Paz Dupuy, Zahra Lotfabadi and Vika Kyslova.
The video represents a call to action and a denunciation of the injustice faced by female futsal players.
